S5 or LG3

I've been toying with switching. Not that I don't like my iphone 5, but when the 6 comes out, I'll compare everything then. I use alot of apple products (ipad, appletv, etc) but I like some of the features I see on the android. I'm not into customizing much but I know I want to have the "top" phone feature wise.

Got the wife an S5 last night. If she can't get used to it, it'll be mine and she will get the iphone 6

G3 has the 3gb of RAM which is crazy in a phone. Also comes with 32gb memory out the gate w/ expandable memory. 543ppi, laser auto focus, and quad 4 HD. It's an awesome phone. Plus at AT&T right now you can get the G Pad for 99cents on a 2yr with the purchase of a G3.

926...what are your observations btwn the s5 and iPhone? Good and bad...
Got rid of the iPhone for 2 reasons. No expandable memory and small screen size. While the android features seem "clunky" to me, I still really like it. The pictures are much more brilliant in color and I like how the scrolling between pages is very smooth. Right now Apple has a stranglehold on her iMessages that should be coming to her from iPhone users and that's pain, but I fault Apple for that more than I do Android.

My wife ran out of room on her iPhone 16GB and when we bought it, never thought she would use that much space, but since it became a camera in a way, it quickly took up a lot of space. Now it is expandable and the camera takes much better pics with better editing tools even though it is more complicated to use (took a while to figure out even how to turn on the flash).

So far very happy with the purchase and if the wife is wowed by the iPhone 6, i guess I'll inherit the s5 and I'll do it with a smile.

As far as iMessage goes, you can still send texts, right. I've heard the screen isn't as bright as the iphone. I'll wait until the iphone 6 is announced to decide. I would hate to get the samsung and then hate it and I also don't want to lose my unlimited data

To fix that problem one of the best things to do is make sure she is signed out of any and all apple devices (event tablets or itunes) then simply re login to whatever ones you still use, sometimes you have to do this from the website or over the phone if the device is long gone. It's a common error I see at least twice a week, and its only with apple devices going to android, and entirely on the side of apple.

If that doesn't work, apple may have to do different things depending on the device in question.

I've got unlimited data and for what I'm paying for it, totally not worth it.

My issue is I either have to stay unlimited, on a family plan where 4 of the 5 are unlimited, or do the family share thing. 10 gb wouldn't be enough I don't think and more than that seems to get pricey. Then you have to do that stupid AT&T Next thing.

Why would you have to change your unlimited plan?

If you don't mind me asking, what are you paying for your current plan? I work for AT&T and just want to do a comparison.

I'll have to look that up. We actually have 4 phones right now on the plan and I think we are paying roughly $200 a month...

It's 100% Apple's fault. And they've said they will fix it but haven't. They are currently being sued over it as well.

Here's more info in case anyone cares.

When my sister switched to a Samsung a few months back it took weeks to get it straightened out.

Then I had a buddy switch to an HTC just today and he's had no problem.... at least on my end.

Don't know if device really has anything to do with it but that is odd.

I've been thinking of switching myself. The G3 has my attention. I've become bored with the iPhones.

I just don't know crap about android....
