It's official; Ryan Johnson is finishing his career at GT.



Think with Kennedy potentially coming back, it made sense for Johnson to go elsewhere. He was unlikely to be a starter here next year. I wish him the best. Great landing spot for him, particularly with his engineering degree.

Exactly. If you know you're unlikely to make it in the NFL and you have the brains to be a very good engineer, makes a lot of sense to add Georgia Tech to your resume for free.

I transferred from Ga Tech to UT to finish my PhD in Engineering. Ga Tech is good but Tennessee is stronger at least in my discipline. Nonetheless I wish him only the best. He is an articulate and classy representative for the Vols and as far as I’m concerned a VFL.
