Was a huge fan when in high school. Now I can't take more than a song at a time. Very talented band though.

A few weeks ago, I DJed a wedding for the biggest Rush fan I've ever seen. He had me play two Rush songs during the ceremony, and MAN others during the reception. I believe their recessional song was Spirit of Radio.

You ever use the Alto Professional PA system for DJ?

They have the strongest cult following. I had a work acquaintance tell me, "I only listen to 3 bands." and I said, "Is one of them Rush?"

Totally nailed it.

Alex Lifeson's speech at their Hall of Fame induction was legendary.

Xanadu is one of my favs. I've never heard it on the radio. Probably too long for radio play.

Love that song. In "Rush, Beyond The Lighted Stage" they talk about how when they were touring with UFO, the guys from that band were constantly giving them hell about the lyrics to Xanadu.

Yes I've heard people say the lyrics in Xanadu are kinda cheesy but I still like it. The songs lyrics were inspired by a poem written by Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
