A few weeks ago, I DJed a wedding for the biggest Rush fan I've ever seen. He had me play two Rush songs during the ceremony, and MAN others during the reception. I believe their recessional song was Spirit of Radio.

I like their older stuff too. Fly by night and 2112 are my favorite albums. Moving pictures is a great one too

They have the strongest cult following. I had a work acquaintance tell me, "I only listen to 3 bands." and I said, "Is one of them Rush?"

Love that song. In "Rush, Beyond The Lighted Stage" they talk about how when they were touring with UFO, the guys from that band were constantly giving them hell about the lyrics to Xanadu.

Yes I've heard people say the lyrics in Xanadu are kinda cheesy but I still like it. The songs lyrics were inspired by a poem written by Samuel Taylor Coleridge.

Rush and The Trailer Park Boys are the two best things to ever come out of Canada.

Closer to the Heart is one of the best songs ever.
