Rush Propst says Peterson is still working on academics

Yeah at tgis point if he ever gets here it's just a bonus. Hopefully they weren't counting on having him too much.

Under my system he would be a paid employee of the school and whatever he's "working on" would be irrelevant. As it is, he has no business near the academic side of a university if he has this much trouble clearing the laughably low bar of qualification.

We all know the term "student" athlete is a joke. These guys are here to play ball with the rare exception like Dobbs.

Apparently, JJ had a test yesterday and if he passed he was good to go. I wonder if this means that he did not pass. It’s gonna suck if we lose this kid to JUCO.

I know of no program he could be working on to get academically qualified. So, what the hell does that mean. Can a reported not ask questions.

Probably working on getting his ACT score to double digits.

It means he failed a class in high school and he has to pass that course before he can come to UT. Pretty simple really. You’ve got a to complete 4 years of English, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, ETC to qualify for college. I’m assuming one of those courses is holding him up.

Different Peterson, he's on campus but he's a 5'7" 135 lb Agricultural major focusing on hybrid corn for you know... better corn bread. The guy we want is about 72 hours from being JUCO bound....:(

Thru the years we have had many players get recruited but never make it to campus. We took a risk on him and recruited him and it did not work out
Tino Thomas never made it to campus and Gerald Williams was eligible for Social Security before he played a down at U T

Tino Thomas made it to campus...just didn’t stay long. Grayshirted and then went JUCO after his redshirt freshman season. Played 3 games.
