Running game non existent w/o Hooker

Wr played to our strengths and their weakness. If you can't understand that, get lost. Their DBs were a weakness and DL a strength. We exposed them.

Again…. Internet tough guy…. WVU ran for almost 200 on them and this is the 2nd week in a row that Wright has coughed it up. Our WRs having an advantage on their DBs should have IMPROVED our running output because it’s supposed to bring the safeties higher.

The Oline got whipped. Especially in the run game. They need to play better period. Also I think we ran Hooker a bit too much, feel like no RB got much of a chance to get hot.

And Man, Just like last year, we had some very unfortunate overthrows that could have broken the game wide open. Don’t know what happens to Hooker against Pitt but gosh
Probably because of where he played before.. it may rattle him a little more than SEC schools? Idk armchair psychologist 😂

Disagree. They aren't getting the touches. And when they are its usually on 1st down.

Small carried the ball 10 times for 17 yds with a long of 5. He doesn't miss tacklers and he rarely breaks one. Wright had 9 carries for 47 yds but lost a fumble in the 4th because he wasn't strong enough to hold onto the ball in a scrum. I don't think he came back in after that.

Neither of these guys would be in the 2 deep for any of the teams in the top half of the SEC. The longest run from scrimmage this year was a 33 yd run vs Ball St. Have to get some explosive plays out of this backfield against a good team at some point this year.
