Since Foster is gone who do you think will start? Since Kiffin is giving everyone an equal shot do you think Creer or even Oku could beat out Sr. Hardesty?

Will be an interesting spring. I think that Hardesty and Creer see the bulk of carries, but Oku is going to get his chance to shine....

I really like the way Creer runs. If our line gets 100% better I think he'd be a star. Seems to run the hardest.

I think Creer will start because he has the potential to be a home-run back on every touch. I'd like to see Toney Williams play a bunch if the Vols sign him. Tennessee has been missing that "thunder and lightning" RB combo for a few years now.

i haven't really watched any vids of williams running but i'm guessing he's more of a power back..?

You guys are completely forgeting about Poole. He will be a factor. He's one of the hardest runners on the team and one of the toughest to tackle.

4.6 but he is hard to bring down and runs down hill very well. I think he is very underated.

He's just 5'10 and 200 lbs. though. Toney Williams has the same 40 time (4.6) but is a much larger body. I'd also like to see Damien Thigpen line up in the backfield like Percy Harvin running sweeps and counters.

Creer is the best back UT has. He will (should) win the job.

Oku could be good, but lets him get on campus before he is awarded the 2012 Heisman!

Poole's forty time was right after an injury IIRC. He runs hard, and I'm sure he's improved his speed irregardless.

Hardesty may start but Creer will see the majority of the carries. Hardesty is just not a complete back and Creer offers explosiveness every time he touches the rock. i think a lot will have to do with down and distance and game situations. hardesty would be best suited for 2nd and shorts where we can run or pass or even situations to close out halves or finish off games. poole may be lost in the shuffle already just off pure talent. i would definately love to see thigpen making plays on the offensive side of the ball.
