Running Back U all over again...

I am beginning to believe, and not necessarily because it was my idea, but because of how wise and insightful the majority of VolNation is, that there was a beautiful little strategy put in place for the Oku-Brown recruitment. As I look at what Gran did with Brown and Williams, and what Kiffin did with White and Bush, it seems notably obvious that this is the same approach. Both players get playing time. Both get recognition. Both get to the pros and establish their careers. Both make the other guy look better. And both create a marketing tool second to none. I am happy about Oku...I'll be thrilled if we land both of these guys. Boys...Running Back U all over again...

The last time we had a running back that was BETTER than expected was probably travis stephens. I sure hope DO and possibly BB will break that trend.

Brown is suppose to announce on the 16th. And Charles is suppose to announce today at 4:30. First time poster, IT's GREAT TO BE A TENNESSEE VOL!

Seems our two friends posting from Wichita yesterday were a bit early, as the last we heard they were headed to the announcement at the Kansas Sports Hall of Fame around noon yesterday. Perhaps they are camping out for the first spot in line for the press conference. After all, according to them he is the next Barry Sanders.:)

Wow. Do you actually read the posts? I said nothing about it being yesterday. I know it was the 16th. Please read again...I would appreciate it. Another thing is that I said I have heard that Barry Sanders would be there, not that BB was the next Barry Sanders. Holy Cow dude. Are you sitting on your thumb?

You mentioned 3:00 in your second post. I am sure that you just forgot to mention March 16th, right? My bad.....for not reading your mind. Go Vols.
