Run, Run, Throw

The problem with passing is that your QB only goes 7 for 18 and throws two picks, all while getting pounded so hard by a pass rush that he had to leave the game twice and is so beat up that he’s questionable for next week. That’s why you don’t pass.

The problem with running is that your o-line can’t get a push and your RB’s aren’t good enough to break tackles and make holes where there are none. Running too much would just mean 3 and outs and more possessions for Florida. That’s why you don’t run.

In other words, when the defense is really good, in combination with your offense being really bad, you have no chance either way.

There was a chant in the early Majors days. Up the middle, up the middle pass punt. It was later followed by Go Johnny Go and take Devoe.
