OK i know this might get moved into a different thread or merged into another one, but here is my question..

Where are all these rumors coming from? I have done a lot of research and can't find anything of what people are saying... I live in So Cali and someone told me that something about Knoxville was on the front page of our newspaper out here... iI just think people need to keep the rumors to themselves unless its true...

Rumors I have heard so far ... Coaches that the Vols are looking at... Pete Carroll, Lane Kiffin, Joe Gruden, Bill Cowher, and Steve Spurrier... WOW

*UT is going to make an offer of 4-6 million/year to Carroll, Gruden or Cowher.
what is this all about.. why would Carroll come to TN when the USC is a top ten team in the Nation ever yr almost??? Thats crazy...

If you have hard evidence on these or any other rumors please feel free to post them in this with a link or where you find your info... I'd like to know...

Come on VOLS fans dont post things on here unless you know they are true... I'm not calling anyone out, but the fans across the country dont get to hear all the radio talk... Dont believe everything you hear... be smarter than that... thanks and feel free to psot what you know....

Wishful thinking, most of it. Nothing is getting done until the season plays out. Barring a houdini act by phil, this will be his last year.

Some of it is from buddies with a lot of money who are in on the booster meetings. Other parts of it are from people who just want to see their words in a reply box.

A mole, deep inside the UT athletic dept., is spreading all kind of weird rumors to keep the heat on.

I would suggest that you dont let things like that get to you:good!: It is a joke, some of these things that people say and how it seems to just grow legs and run away.

Wait? What? Don't post rumors unless you know they're true? That's right up there with the most ridiculous things posted on VN... they wouldn't be rumors if they were concrete facts... what the heck?

ok people... your takin it the wrong way... all im sayin is that i just wanna know what the heck is true and what isnt.. i still havent seen any links to anything i have seen on this forum.. man i guess people are just pullin carp outta their ass...its actually funny to see some of the post on this site...

But I did hear from a very, VERY reliable source that Jeff Fisher was going to be the next HC at Tennessee volsfan12. This one is true for sure.
