Stay focused boys... give us some feed on what the QB situaiton would have been like this year if BJ would have stayed? 2-1, or 3-0?

Don't give me the crap about, Oh wait, but we wouldn't get a 6'7" 4 star blue chipper!!

I buy my season tickets each year! not 3 years in advance.... I want "W's" now!

You're the one who questioned the quality of my education, so don't get pissed that I threw it back in your face. By the way, I'm not "spending daddy's money" since I'm on full scholarship. I would suggest that you stop talking out of your @ss before you embarrass yourself further. You've only been a member of this board for a few hours and you're already off to a bad start.

I'm obviously not as informed as some which is usual. I heard CLK say that Crompton was the starter but I also heard him say that Jonathan needed to have a big game and I can relate to that statement as a coach and a player.

you brought it up sgm. i have nothing to be embarrased about. i have distinguished myself in the real world, not in the classroom. now i am in the classroom and it means nothing. when you accomplish something real than i will aplpaud you until then understand that you are a student.

I say give Stephens a try this Saturday. Give him all the opportunities that have been given to Crompton and see what happens. It can't get much worse. We already know we have losses in the near future due to the lack of a QB. Let's see if this staff can bring Stephens around.

I still say Kiffin (spelled with an "I" ) started the dominos when he screwed the pouch with Coleman in his office..... I would have said I loved his mother to get him to stay until I had that 6'7" blue chipper, signed, in pads, and calling plays before I let Coleman "Quit"..

Mark my words... Crompton graduates, and we get the freashman we all have waited for, and NS walks too.... then we have to pray that SGMVols can build a nuclear force field around him.... if he catches a cold or goes down..... we are toast! again.... Then we wait until the next year ( year 3 of Kiffin's 5 year Contract)...
Is anyone getting the orignal point I was trying to make??? I am not a Coleman lover, I am a student of the game.... its as much a stratagy.....

We are still evaluating Cam Newton, and if we offer him, we have a great chance to get him (5* QB who left UF).
Where is Stephens going to go? Who would want him?
Name 1 QB ever who has transferred in the off-season prior to his senior year.

Can you imagine the parents of those two freashman QB's sitting in the stands, comparing notes with each other? Kiffin said my son would start... no way, he said my son would start...... and then..... a starter is named, and the other takes the transfer..... same song second verse....

its always good to keep a year or two between starting QB's

I am going to reseach the question about the senior transfer to a D2 school.... I am sure it won't be the first...

Let me guess. You haven't paid attention to much having to do with the Vols.
Cam Newton is at a JUCO right now. he isn't a senior in high school. When he came out of HS, he was the #2 dual threat QB on Rivals. I'd say his dislike for Florida would drive him to want it more than Bray, but I wouldn't mind getting both.
Get Newton (as a junior) and Bray. RS Bray. Bray starts for the Vols as a RS sophomore.

I have not been on the practice field every time they have and I would say you haven't either. I really don't think he has had the same treatment as Crompton. Cromp is a 5 year player that had the old staff completely on his side much of the time. Cromp's potential is MAXED out now. Maybe Stephens has a little room for improvement! Not the end of the story IMO.

Neither is worth a crap though.

2 staffs have put Stephens at 2nd string. Do you call both incorrect?
