worked for the Browns before the haslams era tho I believe - Hired by Currie tho

If Phil isn’t AD by 4pm he better be the new coach for a year or two with Tee and Steele and Tee HC in waiting

If this happens, I'm completely out. This means that other than being guilty of being a puppet, Currie wasn't the problem. Besides Schiano, he apparently had Brohm and Leach on the hook over the past 2-3 days...both of which would have been great, only to be nixed by Haslam. I don't mean anything to UTAD, but will free up my time, for sure.

A smart thing to do would be to hire an experienced HC that would like to work for a few years preparing a talented OC or DC for the HC position. It is called succession planning in the business world, but in football it is a difficult formula. Some coaches can do it prior to retirement like for example Saban. Every leader should be preparing his organization for succession. It is what great leaders do.

So:

Phil Fulmer HC
Tee Martin OC (with plans to rise to HC position)

My gut instinct is that Fulmer would accept a very low salary, and the higher salary could be offered to OC and DC which is really where the money should go anyway in a rebuild like Tennessee is faced with in this debacle.

Reid is 10 Times the man that Currie is. If he becomes interim, I trust in him and his ability to make smart, sound decisions for the short term.

Please share your wisdom concerning Sigmon.

How long have you known him and Currie to make such a statement?

Did you just move here from Kansas with him?

We don't want Sigmon in. I don't care about his resume. He is connected to Haslam and that is enough for a stern 'No'.

Let's do this right.

Didnt Haslam and Sigmon clash when Haslam apparently wanted to hire Schiano to the Browns in '13? I think thats what led to Sigmon leaving then. Someone correct me if Im wrong, on phone dont feel like googling.
