Rumor - Uniforms tonight

This is a completely unsubstantiated rumor as I read it on another VOL board so treat it as such:

Anyone else hear that we would be coming out in all black and orange uniforms tonight for Vandy?

The Vols where white at home, so I would imagine Vandy will be wearing black.

I don't think we'll see UT in black.

Don't think it'll be tonight, but the road game at Memphis, on national TV in prime time, would be a perfect place to break out the black.

Agreed. I believe Pearl mentioned something about some uniform surprises this season. Doubt it will be for this game, though.

Yeah, they are, but can't they be asked to use their Gold? Or do you HAVE to wear your road jerseys on road games?

If you're going to bust out special uniforms, Saturday afternoon on CBS against an opponent that draws huge national TV ratings makes much more sense than Thursday evening on ESPN against a team nobody outside a four block area of Nashville gives a damn about.

Thank you, I have to listen to these people everyday here in Nashville. Joe Fisher (voice of Vandy) is the biggest homer of all time.

They could add some powder blue for OSU game, and maybe they would think they were playing the Lady Vols, and give up before the tip-off.

It doesn't matter if it's a home game. They can use whatever uni they want. The road team has to adjust to it.

After watching both the teams play I would definitely say Ole Miss is the better team offensively and defensively and no I would not consider this a W. We are going to have to play a great game to win.
