I would love to see the UNC AD call UBuff and schedule them before Hamilton gets a signed contract. They obviously have an opening the same weekend that we do.

I remember when Auburn dropped the FSU game in 1999 and I believe that it was held against them all the way up to 2004 when they ran the table. I'm not saying that it cost them the spot in the title game because other things we're a factor. But I remember it being brought up alot. I'd hate for something like this to come back and haunt us.

In other words ... I hope we have to play UNC. Like I said before , I'm not saying we would lose , but I'd rather lose than backout.

unfortuantely, you're right, we'll continue to struggle over the next few years, then Hambone and Saban's prodigy will be both be gone, and we'll start all over

The part I don't understand is why wait on Hamilton?

If CDD is successful, it has nothing to do with Hamilton finding a diamond in the rough. If CDD had said no, Hammy would have hired the cook at McDonalds, as long as he'd sign the dotted line before the self-imposed 3-day deadline expired.

There's a very good chance you are correct. Begs the question of why we are running scared and accepting all the baggage that comes along with buying our way out of the game.
