Rumor That Nukeese Headed To

I would be HIGHLY surprised if Nuke or Edwards do any type of jail time. First offense for both with absolutely no prior anything on their records......if their lawyers are competent at all, they will get them off with a ton of community service.....some sort of "house arrest" where they are tracked by a probation officer and have a curfew and regular drug tests. I know they say the fact it was a pellet gun doesnt matter in the eye of the law, but when it comes to "sentencing", this will be considered. My uncle was a former DA in Nashville....that was mainly his opinion.

Your uncle knows his business. I doubt if tons of community service but definitely a lot. Also due to the economy the state is studying who to let out now. I see fines and probation but not much more. No one will really push this case and it will fade away. IMO

FSU. Who knows if its true, but they are kind of desperate right now.

I'd think he's going to jail first. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200. Surely you can't pull a gun on someone in a hold-up and not visit the crowbar hotel for awhile.

He would then fit in at Florida State, or do you have to have 2 felonys ? stiil not sure on that one.:)

I'm sure i will get blasted for this but can we show some class here. I for one don't think Nuke or Edwards should be a vol anymore than anyone else, but what good does it do to kick them when they're down. I bet half of you on here tonight were begging Nukese to stay 3 weeks ago now you turn on him like a pack of wild dogs.

3 weeks ago the dude was just homesick.... Then he pulled a gun (even if it was a pellet gun...) on some kids in a stupid "holdup".... THAT'S when folks turned on him. Being an armed robber is a little different than being homesick dontcha think??!?!

No...Actually We loved Nu'keese and everyone was excited about him being a VOL and couldn't wait to see what he could do on the field...We gave our hearts to him because he stuck a knife in Urban Meyer and the UF fans hearts and became a hero to many..I was one of his biggest supporters and not ashamed to admit it..He had the world in his hands and if anything he turned on US!...He betrayed our trust and broke everybodies hearts with his selfishness and ignorance....He made us as fans and the coaching staff look stupid by trusting in him...I think back to the day he came here on the recruiting trip and at the basketball game several people had pictures made with him begging him to come to UT and all of them smiling...One of which was a boy who's father is a member here on volnation "Can't remember his name however"...Kid was smiling and happy and nukeese was holding up the #1 sign...Now I wonder how that kid feels everytime he looks at that picture?...How do you feel? :ermm:

1. Nuke and Edwards will probably make a plea deal in which they do not get any jail time. It is probably in everyone's best interest. DA should consider that these kids have already lost a whole lot by their actions. Probably community service and probation.
2. They will have to resolve this situation before any school will allow them to matriculate and be on-campus students.
3. They will either go to one year of JUCO - a probability, and then can transfer into another school and play immediately as juniors. They could redshirt during the JUCO year and then have 3 years of eligibility.

I wish them both the best and hope they can make something of their lives. I think they both have a decent chance to play on Sundays if they get their lives on track and mature.
