didn't we have some sort of home and home scheduled with these guys? or is it scheduled for the future?

anyway, i heard from an NCSU acquaintance that there's talk of us meeting in the 2011 Chik-Fil-A Kick Off Classic @ Georgia Dome for a one off series instead.

i want to see UT Va Tech at bristol motor speedway, anyone know if thats gonna happen?

that rumor has been going on for years. Neither school wanted to give up a home game is the last reason I heard it wasn't going to work, but that's been a few years ago. That was also before 12 games

heard from a source that "one" of the reason was because of money having to move dirt and sod in for just one game may not bring in enough fans to make it worth it

- I live in Atlanta

- I am a graduate of Tennessee and NC State

- I would explode if this is true

I bet it would feel really good to get tackled on the FieldTurf they'd have to lay on top of that soft concrete infield.

I would make that trip in a heartbeat. God i would love to watch the vols stomp a mudhole just too shut that fan base up. Then it would be great to whip the tar holes too.

Also to kind of answer doozer's question:

I want to say we had a home and home with them in 2009 & 2010. Then it got moved back. I know we had something because I had a deal going with a buddy from Raleigh about getting him a ticket to Neyland and him getting me a ticket to the game in Raleigh.

NC State Football fans, possibly the most annoying of the ACC.

I was @ Bristol Twice when they put Dirt on it and ran Sprint Cars and Dirt Latemodels. Football field would be NO PROBLEM. They would have to move grand stands though to the banking of the racetrack.

I wish they still put Dirt on Bristol, good god it was fast! They sprint cars ran 2-3 seconds faster than Nascar Easily. Never had to get off the gas.

I live in the Tri_Cities area, have most of my life. The Bristol thing isn't happening as long as MH is AD.

Not much, but they are on the rise. O'Brien is doing a good job rebuilding after the mess that Chuck Amato created up there. Not to mention their new QB, Russell Wilson is the best in the ACC. In 2011, they will be stout.
