RUMOR: Report: Jon Gruden could be headed to Philly

Dooley has brought on some of this on his own. He calls out players and blames them and everyone else for losing and not himself. He doesnt take the blame for anything. And have heard many times he is the biggest a$$ and douche you will ever meet. That stuff can be tolerated somewhat if he was winning, but to treat people like that and act the way he does on top of us getting our Brakes beat off every Sat makes it very hard to pull for him.

He's such a bad guy for saying something pubicly that you knew exactly what he was doing. I'm sorry I don't see it how you want me to.

Sometimes I say things that might sound harsh to others but I didn't mean it the way they "could" have taken it. Maybe he was trying to push the players publicly. I've seen it work and not work. Kinda like going for the win and losing. Your a genius if you do and stupid if you don't.

The only hate I see towards him is those that have convinced themselves he's trying to trash our program and laugh at us while doing it. All the while he's trying to win and build a program for all of us.

The AD has surely heard everyone and will make a decision at the end of the year. Why does everyone feel the need to keep bashing him?

Edit:

**The only people making the "everyone hates Dooley" claims are also the ones that are the so called insiders on here that have put up incorrect info a good many times. They have also posted constant negative opinions about Dooley. Its all rumors for ratings/ecred.

**I have seen Dooley admit fault.

You see it how you want.

You think I'm happy watching all these people bash a coach doing everything he can to win? I like watching constant rumors and everyone spin everything so it looks like he's the enemy. Make fun of the players, coaches and AD like they don't know anything?

I will support Dooley until he is given papers! I "hope" he turns it around.

I am not going to drop myself to the level of creating hate towards him so I can constantly bash him.

What do you think you're "being" to the current coach, team, and ad? Some reason you feel that you have the right to be but I'm suppose to step aside.

Note: I am not talking about you personally.

He's not doing everything he can to win, a good coach would win with this team. Us as fans are calling for a change because if it isn't made soon, UT will slip further into obscurity. We are getting killed in recruiting and it will get worse next year when the schedule gets tougher. Ainge and Swain are calling for DD's head, i guess they're not "Tru Vols" either...

My opinion is that he has "somewhat" failed up to this point but that doesn't mean he isn't learning on the job or moving forward. If we go a different route then I will pull for that coach until he gives me a reason to not.

I didn't pull for Kiffin long and felt he wasn't no where close to being a standup guy.

I like people who seem to be the same all the time. Nothing to hide. I hope CDD finds his way no matter where he goes "if" he leaves.

No one cares if he's a "stand up guy", he loses games. And you don't "learn on the job" to be an elite coach in the SEC.

Now you're saying that you're bashing him because of loses only. No other reason. I like giving people chances and time. I hope they would do the same for me. :hi:

Again, I refuse to hate someone and tear them down over a football game. There are men in place that will take care of the hire and fire process. I will wish the best for a guy that seems to be trying his hardest.

I care if our coach is a stand up guy! If we had a bad coach I would just watch from a distance until a change is made.

That's the reason any coach should be bashed, that's what he's getting paid millions to do!!! He has had 3 yrs worth of chances and is 0-??? against teams that matter!!!

First of all Ive lived in the Philly area all my life and Howard Eskin has been a moron for 30 years. You throw enough crap out there and some of it comes true. My question on this whole Gruden to the NFL talk is this. Why are teams half way through there season, still with a reasonable chance of making the playoffs looking for new coaches? Whats the big hurry for a possible future NFL coach to be assembling a staff in October? In January coaches and assistants will be fired and available and theres plenty of time before the draft in April and free agency to assemble a staff. Plus what assistant is sitting there talking to a coach who may get hired somewhere about a position next season? On the other hand someone whos at least interested in a college position desperately needs a staff in place for recruiting purposes. Not saying the Gruden to UT deal wont get screwed up in the end and that he wont coach in the NFL next year but if hes talking to assistants at this point it makes a lot more sense its for a college job, theres just no reason to put a staff together for a 2013 NFL job at this point. Oh, and he'll coach Dallas before Philly if it comes to that.

How could Gruden coach Philly when he's coming here? Someone needs to call these clowns and tell 'em whats up.

Looks like Florio just got bored this afternoon.
Wouldn't this conflict with all the rumors about him contacting Juan Castillo?
