Barry is a big fish to be a DC in college football...Great LB coach one of the best in the NFL and had a stint as DC. DC in the NFL to DC in college is like checkers and chess.

Dr B is Gary Haskew, the Majors quote may have been referring to Dr B and his bro Jerre Haskew who is no longer with the show...Jerre was more connected financially while Dr B was the entertainer. Not sure who Batman is...that is what Dr. B calls his "source in knoxville".

Regardless, Sport Talk is a very entertaining show...some parts may be a bit stale, but overall it still kills.

I've personally seen Doc with handfuls of 50k+ guys at least 4 times. He may not eat dinner with Hammy, but he's way more connected than the average volfan. And I don't know of his brothers passing. He is a good man and one would assume the relationships they had in the 90's would be __ years stronger.

No need to take offense, not intended for you personally. The "big fish" has just taken on a life of its own at this point and anytime it's brought up it's just going to meltdown into a frivolous session of bad humor.

It's to the point where even if it were to be *true* in some form, it's a gag. Lighten up.
