Rumor out of Columbia Muschamp is out [Confirmed]

Not sure if this is what they are thinking but it would be a great move by SC. Get Muschamp out of there and start the negotiations early with Freeze before the other teams come knocking down his door. I can see this happening.... what does that mean for Tennessee? It would most certainly mean there is another potent modern day offense they would have to contend with every year while the Vols are still running the offense made infamous by Mr. Coach Klein’s South Central Louisiana State Muddogs. Our only hope is that we land Bobby Boucher III who is currently a highly touted 6 Star athlete out of Louisiana.

I hate to see anyone lose their job. That said, Muschamp hasn’t had any success as a head coach. Sadly, until the last 2 seasons, UT is about the only team that he beat consistently. Some guys just aren’t cut out to be HEAD coaches. He’s one of them.

It's insane the amount of money that guy made off of being lucky enough to coach Tom Brady. Weis thought it was him, and by the time everyone figured out it was just Brady, Weis was a very rich man. I hope Weis sends Brady a helluva Christmas basket every year.

Or how much money he made by almost beating SC in 2005. Notre Dame gave him a 10-year contract two weeks after that game.

Wonder if USCjr will interview Pruitt and/or Chaney? On a serious note who do they think they will get? Spurrier and Holtz was there all time great hires and peaked at mediocrity. Anything short of getting Freeze will keep them at their status quo and there’s no guarantee will be any better, at least there.

Maybe the Vols can win the Billy Napier sweepstakes at the end of next year.

Alabama assistants always work out well for the Vols.
