No problem. :hi:

I hope we can land Heaps but I'm not getting my hopes up. What happened to Nick Montana? That's all I heard for a long time and for the past 2 months I have not heard anything about him. Is he just not that good and his name is what is getting him all the attention or what?

Spring is what-15 hrs. much more time in summer and fall,I hope to see Qb play much better this year.

I'm not holding my breath. Our running game and special teams should be much improved though. I think that gets us to at least 7 wins.

He's someone they evaluated twice, I believe and decided not to offer.

Ok I was just curious. I think Kiffin knows good talent when he sees it I as just curious as to why he seemed to just fall off the recruiting board all of a sudden

I thought Scroggins was a guy we were gonna fight for. What happened to that situation? I agree with you Ainge, Crompton should be much improved this year, but no matter how much you polish a turd it is still a turd. QB play will keep us from being a pretty decent team. Kiff and company need to make sure they fix this.

Lamaison would be a nice pickup to provide some much needed depth at QB. That said, I think we'll be fine with Crompton this season. I'm hoping for a breakout season with a new offensive scheme. Then again, I thought the same thing before last season!

Did I read this right? 31 TD/ 5 INT

Not shabby.

Someone put Lamaison's stats up on VQ and it had him at:
3,497 yards, 36 TDs, 7 INTs, and he completed 68% of his passes as freshmen...
This guy is no scrub. He might not see the field this year, and may be redshirted. But he also may very well be the starting QB in 2010. Everyone should watch some of his 40 minute highlight video. He has a very strong arm and is deadly accurate. He can play...

Unfortunately, I think he gets his football skills from his mom and not his dad. What a shame. :)

I don't buy that. Just about anybody would be better than Crompton IMO. If they just want a warm body to fill the depth chart, they could have found a HS recruit that loves UT and asked him to walk on.

This guy's film and numbers look pretty good.

He's not better than Crompton - unless you believe someone like Kevin Craft from UCLA is better than Crompton. They both put up awesome stats in JUCO. He could play in the future but he won't this year unless we go into desperate mode or Crompton gets injured.

Kid still needs to learn the system before he gets a chance to play, He is going to be a big surprise I think...Redshirt him for a season and let him learn and turn him loose in 2010...I believe he's going to be a hell of a QB for UT IF in fact He has signed with us which is still up in the air and no confirmation as of yet.
