(Rumor) Mizzou to possible move game to Knoxville (FALSE)

Given that there is no meaningful football being played in Nashville, perhaps moving it to Nissan Stadium is fair to both schools.

TITANS in Jacksonville next week, maybe it goes there...

That is actually a damn good idea. Have equal number of ticket allotments for both schools.

Am I the only person who would rather the game be played at a neutral site? Our field looked like it needs some time to itself...

2 or more inches of rain for Knoxville on Wed -- imagine what the field will look like then --- maybe Haslam will fly the tarp from Cleveland over
Yeah. It won't be dry by Saturday either with how good our fields crew is. I would like a neutral site game.

They should play it in Arrowhead like they did this past weekend vs. BYU. That one was planned long ago. But the Chiefs are in San Diego next week.

I have wondered why they do not cover field before game? It would have solved problem, since rain was before kickoff last time.

I received a text message from a pretty good source letting me know that Mizzou is considering moving the game to Knoxville. They have inquired about possibility to UT Admin.

Very interesting.. This should be all over twitter and volnation soon, more details over the next 24 hours.

There have been no such discussions between the schools. I believe the only way Missouri would move the game off campus is if the SEC forced them to, and I don't believe that will happen unless there is further violence on campus this week.

As I understand it, the source of all of this were some overzealous CSC supervisors (the yellow jacket security people) that asked their employees if they could work next weekend if a change was made.

It is not uncommon for CSC to make requests like this of its staff, one of their selling points when they approach schools for their business is that they fully plan out staffing for numerous "emergency hosting situations" that never end up happening.

For some reason, we play better on the road. Better field, less orange-- game should stay at Mizzou. Wonder if the game could move to Arrowhead... unless the Chiefs are at home next week?

Edit: Chiefs play at SD.

Don't know why they would consider changing the location. All the protests I've read about have have been non-violent.

No way they cancel Pinkel's last home game at Mizzou and senior night and move it...

Exactly. Not happening. If thy moved off campus they would surely look for a closer venue. Can't believe people fall for this stuff.
