What's the chance that Dooley allows Ambles to transfer to UT?

What do you think the chances that Dooley will allow Ambles to transfer to UT if he does in fact want to do so? He's been released and looks to transfer to an SEC or ACC school; though it's been noted that he would prefer Tennessee. Your thoughts?

Edit: I prefer that he does not allow him in, he's more trouble than he's worth (see Bryce Brown)

Where did you see that?

I say we should. Yea he crapped on us, but we need all the depth we can get. And another threat aint gonna hurt us none

We all fell for Lane's bullcrap too, we deserve another chance and so does the kid. Am I saying to go all out and make a huge presentation to the kid for no reason? No. But if I were Dooley and he came to me and stated he wanted to be here and work his arse off and truly embrace what it means to be here, I'm all for giving someone a second chance, if they show they have learned from their mistakes.

Ambles said USC was his dream school and he was "Little Hollywood". WTF happend? Even when he was suspended , people would say he will never be dismissed. Something happend and we just don't know about it. Don't care to either. His recruitment was a joke. Markeith forgot that the guy who recruited him was his coach , not his friend. Kiffin told him everything he wanted to hear and then when he landed at SC , this friend turned into a Coach. Same stuff happend with Janzen and Nuke. Janzen was punished the first day of practice along with Myles Junior I believe. It's also a new ballgame out west. Short leash for everyone. Including the coaching staff. As for Ambles , the dream school thing was something put in his head by his friend. He couldn't even spell Trojan. Reeks of dream school doesn't it? When Ambles went though hell to visit Tennessee , with his mind already made up about SC , he still looked like a lost dog. People said he looked like he didn't want to be here. It was during a Basketball game. Looking back , I think he knew he was making a mistake. I honestly think it became a personal thing , to get players previously committed or still committed , when deep down the last staff couldn't careless about them. Whatever it takes to stick it to Tennessee.

Fans of other teams and some people here complain that the fanbase was hurt. Some were. But the fact is , when you use the money of one university to recruit for months (and Tennessee has one of , if not the biggest recruiting budget out there) and then you try and flip players ... not just before they sign , but before they start class , you are a low down POS. That was the problem. Kiffin spun it like we wouldn't have football in Tennessee and we would have mass suicide without him coaching Tennessee. Yes , the timing was bad , but he could have done things differently. It became his little joke and the mouth that didn't stop here , turned on the school that gave him a chance. The recruiting expenses and back stabbing done on the way out were the only true issues as far as him bolting. Ambles is a casualty of the unethical bastard. How he acted during his recruitment and with his recent dismissal , my answer is zero. Sorry kid , learn from it , but move on.

Does that fact he tried to contact the UT staff and they had zero interest in him not mean anything here? Unless he just keeps on them and they have a change of heart, it's not happening.

50% It's the coaches call, but I'm for giving KIDS Ambles age at least a 2nd chance we all make stupid choices at that age and he does have talent. But, I'd lay the law down to him according to CDD, hey I'm an old school guy.

i say give the kid another chance. him and his mom made a stupid choice the first time following a snake in da grass. maybe he got a reality check and will come here and work like heck?

people who have done a lot worse have been allowed 2nd chances...he is just a kid who (like a lot of people) fell for kiffins crap

If Dooley can adjust Ambles attitude and whatever that is, I don't see why not. The way he plays in high school kinda remind me of Desean Jackson when he played for California...

That's the most asinine statement I've ever read. Can you be too deep at a position? Can you have too much talent?

Most asinine statement you've ever read? Really?

You got 1 spot left and you have to choose between Ambles and some monster DT. You don't at least consider the DT given our existing group of receivers and commits?

Maybe debateable, but hardly the most assinine statement ever. Now calling it the most assinine statement ever, that at least ranks...
