A "proven cancer" at USC??? What about a Georgia kid that realizes he's made a mistake and is homesick about it. Lane Kiffin is the master of deceit, especially, with these young men at this age. I would WELCOME this young man to our program with open arms. We can NEVER have too many good receivers with Tyler Bray at QB. "proven cancer" my ass. What proof??? Lane Kiffin's dismissal??? Please rethink this absurd post, my friend. GO VOLS!!!I know I will get blasted for this but...I hope he stays away. He has proven at USC that he is a cancer. If you get in trouble with that staff how do you think he will stay out of trouble with CDD? I say go with what we have and use that scholarship on the D-Line.
I too am skeptical about bringing in Ambles, if this ends up to be true. I think he is someone who is full of themselves and hasn't taken care of business in the classroom. He is also 18 or 19, he is a WR. Is there a position where there are bigger egos than WR? I can understand people worrying about him being a cancer in the locker room, but by the time he hits the field as RS Soph he will be 20 or 21. At that point, this years freshmen will have become veteran team leaders. Hunter and Da'Rick will be starters ahead of him and he should realize that he has to work to see the field. Coach Dooley, Chaney and Coach Baggett will all have had time to work w/ him, as well as (very important imo) Vol For Life leader Andre Lott. This isn't a case like Masoli where there have been legal issues in the past and would look very bad for us to sign the kid. He has been lazy and irresponsible. This could be his second chance to prove he is a big time player/person. I think if the coaches feel comfortable giving him a scholarship they should make him abide by some sort of guidelines to prove he can be a good student, person and teammate. His "presents" on the field and in practice could make everyone that much better. I think it's worth the risk.
So, you're judgement is based the "Lane Kiffin" filter??? This being the same judgement that passed on Cam Newton in favor of Matt Simms??? Me thinks you might want to reconsider this post, my friend.I personally don't want this trouble. He wanted nothing to do with us. He rubbed our nose in it led the fanbase on. USC don't want him, if he was all world Kiffen would probably overlook his troubles. Its not worth the risk to me, we have had a few black eyes the past year, don't want anymore.
A lot of folks here have said he has an attitue problem or character issues. However, no one has yet to say what those issues are. So what he played with fan's minds on youtube and twitter. He is a kid. He probably got home sick at USC and quit going to class and practice. Happened to me when I was a freshman in college. I grew up, got my s#!t together and moved on. Give him a chance before we all label him a bad kid with character problems.
Thanks, that's what I thought. Would Dallas be fine with coming in and playing DB?
