I heard that Jones and DeBord have been fighting for the last two weeks about who to start at o-line and the starting line-up last Saturday was Jones making a statement that it is his team. Apparently, DeBord is saying that the o-linemen Jones recruited before he got there cannot play for him and that he wants to start the freshmen. Heard it from a reliable source, but not a direct source.

There is no doubt in my mind that, while Jones may allow his coordinators a wide berth in game planning and personnel decisions, the buck stops with the Head Coach, as it should.
