Who said that Vanderbilt is going to have a better class than the Vols? I've yet to read this. I have read (and have made a similar statement), that Vanderbilt is doing a much better job than normal and James Franklin is doing a great job in recruiting, especially for Vandy.
The people that have their feelings hurt about Vandy act like an insecure girlfriend who has been scorned. You know, the girl that would make a huge deal about her boyfriend noticing that a previously unattractive girl had cleaned up a bit, but still had a long way to go...
The story goes like this:
The previously unattractive girl (let's say her name is Mandy Vanderbilt) puts on some makeup, loses a few pounds, and fixes her hair up. She still isn't a 10, but has moved from a 2 to a 5. Mind you, this is a huge improvement for this girl (more than doubled her looks on the looks scale!), but she still doesn't compare to the girlfriend (your nickname for her is cUTie). There's no way you'd leave cUTie, but Mandy V is looking better and you're taking notice. I mean, it's great to see people do better, right?
Actually, in this case, cUTie isn't the one pitching the fit, it's her b*&# @$$ friends. cUTie couldn't care less because she's still a 10, even though she's seen better days.
Moral of the story: Stop acting like a bunch of wussies because Vanderbilt is doing better for itself on the recruiting trail. It's still not a 10, but it's getting better and it's ok for other people to notice.
