To the people saying "QD had 3 years to prepare and he blew it?"
1) Who recruited him?
2) Who is in charge of developing him?
3) Who saw him in practice and named him starter?
4) Who calls plays to apparently help him be successful?
I realize that yes QD hasn't hit it off like we thought he should....but whose fault is that? You can blame QD, but it's not his fault he was put in a boxing match with his hands tied. As seen with Ferguson and Peterson, given a proper offensive scheme and a solid developer, TN QB's under Butch do much better when they're not under Butch. Before Dobbs, when Worley was starter, we could point to the OL and say "Well, dooley skipped a year, wait until we get fully stocked there." Then, Dobbs was a placeholder that made Jones and his offense look better than it is.
And now that Dobbs is gone? We see it for what it is. Exactly the same effectiveness as it was when Worley was QB. It produces weak OL and predictable plays that leave a QB scrambling for his life, and if he can't, then he winds up on the ground or making a throw he doesn't want to.
