Patterson won't have to worry about competition at Tennessee now if the rumor about DR is true.

Rumor is that DR has been indefinitely suspended from the team.

Again it's a RUMOR. But it's spreading like wildfire.

If true this is a step to correct his behavior. Not a dismissal keep that in mind.

LOL, how convenient. "We are suspending you, but you won't miss any games, practices, mandatory bowl meetings, etc."

Give me a break. This is pathetic........you guys know it.

JMoore mentioned it in the recruiting forum in the Cordarelle Patterson thread. Figured it deserved a thread over here for those of you juggernauts that have all your inside sources....

You're already jumping in here to give your 2cents on a rumor that might not even be true about DR? You're the only thing that's pathetic. Troll.

Kinda like what he did with Jackson... Obviously we are observers from the outside, but since Dooley likes to uses analogies involving parenting and children, I think this type of punishment is like a parent telling his kid that he is grounded and can't eat any vegetables..

The respect level for Dooley would go THROUGH THE ROOF if he did kick DR off the team, and show that he is serious about getting the team chemistry and respect problems under control, but everything so far points to the inmate running the asylum and that isn't good.

Offseason "suspension" to publically punish his unruly behavior. Won't miss time next year IMO.

I agree............a rumor is a rumor, but if it is true, off-season suspensions don't mean jack.

Unless Patterson or some other freshman WR comes in and is just a STUD... That's typically how it works. If you have issues, once you become dispensable, typically you're a goner. If anything, this suspension provides justification if Dooley ends up having to let him go later in the year.
