Same. I want our defense to wreak havoc and make him play off his back all day. If he’s worried about that Top 5 draft spot, he won’t want to take big shots from the real B. Young and Beasley.Gamewise I'd rather BY start and then not be able to do very well forcing a replacement. Force the Bama players to adjust their mindset during the game rather than being comfortable with it before the game starts
I don't know. I've seen us really suck it up when a back up comes in. Only good thing about this situation is we are going in to the game with an idea of what we would be going up against if Young goes out. There is at least a little film on him. The gamelan changes drastically for both teams if BY can't go at any point in the game.Gamewise I'd rather BY start and then not be able to do very well forcing a replacement. Force the Bama players to adjust their mindset during the game rather than being comfortable with it before the game starts
Everyone who claims to want Bama at their best has lost their minds. This streak needs to end and I don't care how it happens. Hell, I don't care if half their team is out with food poisoning. Beat Bama.
Bryce will play and play well, he may not go deep on our defense much but it will be a death by a thousand cuts a slant here and a hitch and go there. We will stay in the game about as long as we did last year but we just don’t have the depth to go four full quarters and beat them same applies to Georgia and Ohio St. We don’t have the horses yet to beat the big boys in college football maybe after two or three recruiting classes and hopefully we can hang on to Heup. 10-2 or 9-3 will be a great season folks and better than most people thought but there will be alot of disappointed people come tomm evening because they think we should go 15-0 this season. Slow your roll we aren’t on Bama’s level yet
It’s not nearly that simple. There are many different degrees of a separated shoulder, also known as a sprained AC joint. Could be a week or two. Could be months. Could require long term surgery. The bottom line is that none of us know how bad it is. So to say, as a blanket statement, that the injury is a _____ week injury is simply naive. It’s very possible he’s back tomorrow. It’s also possible he’s done for a good while. From what I read, 4-6wks minimum. Id say he's done for a while
Lol, all the Vol fans saying they wanted Bryce Young to play and be at 100%, but yet they don't seem to mind that Tillman, McCollough and Hadden are likely out for us. This after already being at a large talent disadvantage compared to Alabama. I'd be fine with beating Alabama's JV squad if it all counted the same. I don't understand why our fans want Alabama at their 100% best but overlook the fact that we certainly wouldn't be 100% ourselves.
Betting he's done! If he starts which I really hope. Give him a superman cape!!It’s not nearly that simple.
