(Rumor) Bryce Young out for season [status discussion]

Bama holds on darn near every play before he was hurt with very few calls. So, no you will not see a lot of holding penalties and if you do they’ll be on us.

Now I would expect to see people taken down to the ground. I expect their instructions to be nobody gets to him under any circumstances. Give their propensity for wholesale holding anyway, you may be right. But I expect to see 2-3 Bama OL holding on every play. Sometimes all 5.

This is what I heard from my sources, TIFWIW. The pilot flying Lovie's plane flew to Tuscaloosa and picked up Bryce Young. They flew him out to a medical facility on John Gruden's property in Sevier county. The Dr who was going to do the surgery got fired for leaking personal information on Twitter. The call went out for help and Paul Bain and Rod Wilks answered. They performed a successful surgery. The only question now is does Bryce Young have pocket presents. We'll see......soon.

Yes! A minor AC separation isn't a major injury and pretty easy to recover from. One wrong hit on it too soon, and you're looking at surgery and major time loss. I'm not sure if his is an AC separation, dislocation, or another shoulder injury. It does makes sense that it's an AC separation if they are being careful like this. Dislocation, is just a brace and pain management. You can practice some with an AC, but zero contact until that thing is fully healed.

100%. I would have a hard time believing he plays this week. One wrong hit too soon and his season is done plus possibility for long-term damage. He'll probably come out pre-game in uniform like he did last week, but I'd have a hard time thinking they put him at risk.

Regardless of who plays QB for Bama, we need to pressure them relentlessly, as we did last week. We will get shots on them. The more you hit em, the more likely they are to eventually start making big mistakes. If it’s Bryce, likely he gets tired of getting hit, aggravates that shoulder again…advantage Vols. If it’s Milroe, he’s talented, but he’s gonna get rattled in that environment and start pressing too hard = mistakes. Advantage Vols! DBs have to do just enough. GBO!
