Rule Changes for the Gator Game

In an effort to show TV watchers a better game and not lose half before the third quarter- the following rule changes will be implemented. 1. Tenn gets a new set of downs after gaining 6 yards. 2. Tenn will be allowed to have 12 players on defense at all times. . 3. The first Guarantano int. will be a do-over. 4.Gator passing TDS will count 4 pts not 6. 5. Tenn receivers will be allowed to catch the pass in the air or on the first bounce. 6.Tenn will gain 1 point each time they cross midfield. 7, Fla will have only 3 downs to gain 10 yards. 8. A group of UT fans chosen at random from sections a thru k will take turns calling offensive plays. 9. Pruitt will remain in the locker room the entire game.
After hearing of this- Las Vegas has made the Vols a 3 pt favorite. GO VOLS.

With these rules Florida still wins. Now if Trask didn't play and with these rules we might have a chance.

When JG throws picks they are not allowed to advance the ball. UF will not be allowed to score points with a pass.....must run the ball into endzone. If player catches pass and gets to endzone they must neel at the one. Florida defense is not allowed to rush the passer and cannot shift once they are set so they dont scare Tennessee Center into pre-snap penalties. Also Florida will be considered down if they are touched by 2 hands.

I know you won't believe this but Emory Jones running this offense will put up more points. The threat of a running / passing QB will open up the run game.

More rule changes. In an attempt to raise money for a coaching buyout/COVID expenses, UT agreed to participate in a reality show with UF called Coach Swap where each coaching staff got to run the other program for a half.

In the first half, Pruitt got to coach the Vols and in the second half, he coached the Gators. As a result of Coach Swap, the Vols overcome a 24-7 halftime deficit to win 35-27.
