Negative Recruiting: Dooley - "You know Tommy, Miles will be heading to Michigan".

From a poster on another site: "I am from Springfield, Tennessee. I went to school with Tommy Moffitt (S & C) at LSU. I know he would be very interested in coming home. He actually was hoping for the chance when Wylie was hired. He is excellent. His heart bleeds orange, just like the rest of us. He grew up a Big Orange fan."

That isn't true because Dooley offered him the job then too and he said no.

Dooley may not get this guy but, I'm glad he's shooting for the top.

THis.

Who knows, a lot has changed since last year. CDD has shown that he can coach in the SEC, and TN is about to build a state of the art facility. Maybe hell be ready for it?

Why'd he say no then? Why did he not come back to UT?

Because he was happy at LSU. He has been there for 11 seasons. His family has grown up there. His kids are getting involved in community sports. He is settled. He isn't like some of these other coaches who come in and head out the door as fast as they got here.

Kind of refreshing actually.

And I am not saying he won't come this time, but it will be a hard sell.

I am sure we will hear more after the game on Friday.

He was born in Springfield but calls Summerville his hometown.

The website you are getting that from has the information reversed. He was born in Summerville, but grew up in Springfield. He graduated from Springfield in '81,and played ball for the yellow jackets.

I wish we could get him back in TN,but I have my doubts...hope I'm wrong!

This is not a knock on you as you seem to be good people. I am simply quoting your comment.

CDD ain't Kiffin. Kiffin couldn't hold CDD's jock strap. CDD has done everythinghe needed to due so far without having to be an idiot in public. Even ESPN is talking up CDD now and how lucky we are to have him.

I don't know if CDD will pull this guy but I don't take anything from Kiffin being told no. Da Rick and Stone told Kiffin no to.

:yess::yes::clapping::clapping::clapping::good!::clapping::clapping::clapping::clapping::bow2::clapping::clapping::salute: (I might get a flag for that last salute....)

Very, VERY well said!
