Precisely. Rogers and Hunter are more important to this class and more likely signees than Ambles has been anyways not to mention Ambles has more baggage/attitude than the other WR recruits combined.

Rubio is an asshat. He's the reason USC was right behind us with Loften and Stanley. He stayed just long enough to damage us as much as possible, and now he's out. He costs us Stanley in the end, IMO.

Maybe I'm naive, but I have a hard time believing a rube like Rubio ends up costing us recruits.

What kind of player is going to be swayed by that d-rocket?

Whether or not Rubio is a toolbox is beside the point (at least for me).

Kiffin's really starting to piss me off now.

When we hired Kiffin, I was just as stoked as everyone else, and I couldn't wait to see what he could do over the five years of his contract.
When we lost to VT, I thought the fly-by hand shake was weak, but I didn't think much of it.
When he left us for USC, I didn't really blame him all that much. Like sure, it sucks, because we were definitely on the rise, but at the end of the day, that's his home and his dream job.
Then the story about Orgeron telling our early enrollees not to go to class cheesed me off a bit.
And now, after telling Hamilton that he wouldn't go after anyone who's already committed to UT, it seems like he's doing everything he can to tear our recruits away.

It's gone from understandable to "seriously, what have we done to this cat?"

I kind of thought something was fishy at first report of this news, but I didn't exactly rip Rubio a new one, can't blame him if he was offered a good job. But I guess some of you still want him fired?

Difficult timing so close to his being as involved as he was in Amble's visit. We know something about X's ways and means.

I went to USC forum and boy are they ripping Kiffin and Co. about losing prospects. If they dont get out of the gate early next year, he will definitely feel some heat. They are referring to this Rubio guy as getting Head of USC Football operations. They referred to him as Kiffin's coffee boy. I dont know what job he was offered, and for what info, but its funny. So lets just all take a deep breath and understand that this recruiting crap has everyone nervous, but I bet Kiffin's arse is closed a lil tighter than normal for these next couple of days. One fan has already called him Goat Boy.

Rubio turned down the USC offer and is staying at UT per Brent Hubbs! Do not know if it has been posted already.
