Rubio interviewing with USC?

Ok, this is a question I would like someone to answer, was Rubio , Ed Orgeron's assistant? The day after the Clampets headed off to Beverly Hills, someone apparently in the know was on here saying that Ogeron's intern was still here and he should be let go immediately.

I don't know whose thread it was or how the guy knew this but I would like to know if Rubio is the same person that was mentioned in the thread that day three weeks ago.

Any insight would be deeply appreciated.

Good lord guys, lets calm down and chill with the conspiracy theories. If Ambles wants to go to USC, he'll go. I doubt Rubio tried to sell USC to him but even if you believe that if he can sell Ambles on USC in three minutes then we'll be okay without him. Quit kicking dirt Ambles way, he's a kid with the most important decision of his life right now; we don't need to be giving him any BS reason not to commit to UT.

If he is at USC and didnt remove his personal belongings hell be back to get them at which time he should endure a TENNESSEE ARSEEWHOOPIN to remember us by!

Rubio in his position as intern for UT cannot recruit for UT. ie, make phone calls, visit recruits on behalf of UT.

But, is there anything prohibiting Rubio from recruiting for USC, as an employee of the UT athletic department? And then he is compensated by a job 2 weeks after NSD?

Nothing illegal about that, if Rubio has absolutely no ties to USC at the time he's recruiting, he's just talking to a friend? And in that capacity, the dead period doesn't even apply.

Way out there, I know. But why in the hell would Rubio do anything to potentially affect our class this close to NSD? If this was legit, he would tell Kiffin, "I can interview early next week, I'm kinda busy right now with my current job."

If he was negotiating with the USC staff and taking directions from them he had ties. Strikes me that for an interview today conversations had to begin before yesterday.

The only reason I'd give this credence is Rubio attended the same school, and accompanied CLK on the visit recruiting Palardy.

Then CLK didn't emphatically deny that Rubio aided in his recruitment. CLK said he didn't think Rubio went on campus, but he wasn't sure.

I will be disappointed if Rubio has a position when he comes back. The timing is unacceptable, even if its completely legit.

Why would this guy have to interview for a job that he has already preformed for his old boss. Is X using this guy just to drop him?

I know DD has been busting his butt on the road, but you would think he woud have had a conversation with all the remaining guys on the team and laid it out there. If they don't want to be here, get the 'F' out. How in the world can you have a guy like this, recruiting a guy like Ambles, and the next day @ uSC? I mean for goodness sakes have a Jerry MacGuire moment, "Who's coming with me!!!"

Also, look the guys lance thompson has been focusing on lately. Ambles, Chaz Green, Glen Stanley.... Green and Stanley were both in LA while Rubio was here talking to Ambles... USC had no interest in Stanley b4 CLT recruited him. Also, CLT has a kid named "Lane"

I am beginning to think that is why the DC hire has been so secret....don't want to tip X off so he can steal more from us....seems every name we have mentioned later becomes a USuCk interview-ee.....
