If Kiff hires Rubio, it will be just to get Ambles. I don't really care, but Rubio should see he is a pawn.

On the other hand, Rubio could have stayed just for this purpose----in which case his career will be over before it starts. Coaches remember the poop you do.

If the guy can get a full-time job at USC, then more power to him. Jobs are suffering, even in college athletics. If you can climb a rung or two on the latter, you do it. The conspiracy theories are ludicrous.

Ambles can go to SC if he wants to, and get his arse handed to him playing with a team on extended probation. Who cares? Don't really care for his attitude. If Rogers really wants to go to UT, he's the best choice. If he does, terrific. I worry if his bud Nance wastes away on the depth chart whether he will stick with his "3" year committment. If we end up with Milton, Meline, Hunter, etc., and get a couple of big OL's we will be OK. Would love to get another good DT though.

Wasn't Ambles upset at what UT fans were saying when he made an OV to USC? And yet we have dumb fans on here who jump to conclusions and bash him. Talk about shooting ourselves in the foot.:crazy:

I agree with one of the other posters. If Rubio is interviewing (or even considering it) for another job 2 days before the biggest day in his job description, then he needs to be fired with cause. There is no way that he can be doing his job with excellence if he is looking for other jobs. I also agree that his things need to be packed up and his computer and files and any other recruiting information need to be confiscated as university property. I would also investigate to find out if he has been sending info to the scum bags all along (computer checks, phone records, etc.).

Did he though? Or was it planned for him to stay behind? Nobody really knows. All we know is Kithead appears to be a real piece of work and he does appear to be attempting to get his class at our expense.

If Ambles goes to USC, big deal. Get Rubio out. The same thing happened last year with NuKeese. Guess what? The best thing he did as a vol was rob two crackheads with a pelletgun.

Point is, seems like a big deal now to lose Ambles, but in reality he has a 1/100 chance of being as good as the hype.

I cant wait for NSD to pass and we are done with Kiffin. All this noise is bull****.

Are you serious? Rubio has NO influence regarding what school MA goes to....Rubio is not an assistant coach nor a recruiter...he fetches doughnuts & redbull!

Desperation move by LK to pull Ambles...he thought he had him in the bag and the LT and Rubio came full speed ahead to supposedly pull TN not only back in it but in the lead.

CLK is going to run USC in the ground because he is too worried about TN and the SEC when he won't be playing any of us anytime soon...while UCLA, Oregon, Stanford and others are making moves on his recruits this yr and next yr right under his nose...what an idiot

Does not matter Ambles will not go to USC, because his parents want him to stay close to home so they can watch him. USC is three time zones away. If Ambles loved it out their he would not have took a vist to UT this week. I think it is between UT and UNC. If it goes past signing day Ambles ends up at LSU. So if Rubio goes that is not a big deal for us. It is under 48 hours till signing day know more vists can happen unless Ambles pulls a Bryce Brown.

I met Steve at the basketball game last night and he seems like a very nice guy. It is my understanding that he came here because of his connections with Lance Thompson at UCF. I also heard that he was never a big fan of working for CLK. IMO I think he stays.

I believe that he of whom we do not speak really wants to pull as many UT recruits as possible simply so he can say that the players were committed to the coach and not the school. The whole crew is a bunch of narcissist.
