Conference RPIs are respectable this season. If they remain that way and we could pull 5-1 out of the next six, we could actually be in position for a bubble run.
Wouldn't have considered it before the KS win.
Now that's optimistic coming from me.

It is certainly possible. Like you said when you posted the stat comparison in the other thread, we need to improve in several areas. Defensive rebounding and fouling being the two primary issues.

4-2 Green Bay currently has the highest RPI right now lel. Not always accurate this early.

Yeah I think we look like we might be in the top 6-7 SEC teams which is not bad at this point.....Hopefully we improve instead of decline the rest of the season.

If the SEC finishes strong(OOC) and stays at RPI #4, we could get 4 teams in this season.
Playing with the prediction wizard I've yet to put together a scenario that would get us seeded without 19 wins.
Bubble would be possible if we finish 5-1 next 6.
10-11 wins in the SEC is a tall order. With continued improvement, who knows. 6 as predicted won't cut it.

Right now, we have no true bad losses although Marquette may end up being one.....we really need these home games and to steal a few on the road....We can get in but it will be a challenge.

If Donnie somehow got this mismash into the tourney...omg he stays put even if the NCAA docks him 15 games and his drivers license.

These next five games are big. We need these wins at least 4. 3 at the least.
If we want an NCAA bid, we need all 5. If we only won 3 or 4, we would have no shot at a tournament bid unless we did exceptionally well in the SEC. If we can beat Butler and NC State, our season is looking great.

We jumped 70 spots to 80 with the win over Butler.

Beat NC State and we will be close to tourney range

They'd BE in tournament range. They just jumped 70 spots with a home win over a top 50 team. They would probably jump another 40 with a road win over an additional top 50 team. The RPI is incredibly malleable right now by the way. Keep in mind Gardner Webb is a top 40 team right now at 3-4.

But if you can get positioned well early is harder to move later.

We're sitting at RPI 69. Live rpi gives us a 14% chance of winning. spread -12.9.
That's almost identical to their last prediction.
Give me some De ja vu.
