Gone way too soon. Orbison had an American Billboard Top 40 hit, "You got it", in the spring of 1989... 3 months after he had died from a heart attack.

He had a very good and distinctive singing voice. One of my all time favorites.

This song was also released after Roy died.
Roy’s voice and the empty rocking chair at 1:40 along with George Harrison and Tom Petty being gone is pretty damn sad.

I did not even know that video existed. I clicked on it and thought it was David Bowie for a second. 2:20 is amazing. Very impressive.

Here he is in The Marmalade in one of my most memorable songs from the Vietnam era. Dean Ford died last year . I think he was about 72 or 73.
