Barring everyone makes it in & J.J. returns. What will be our rosters total # with graduating seniors & the 3 recent departures. Thanks in advance volnation.:)

56 on scholly now with Pope, JJ, Askew, & Meline gone & Evans reinstated. We will enroll 26 this year (incl. 6 EE), so that makes 82.

If JJ returns, (hopefully) we are at 83.

i think that they will be fine with the new recruits and the ones they have coming back in the defensive backfield and really the defense as a whole granit theres no more injuries. Having are evans back helps too.

How many of next years seniors are on scholarship? Just wondering if we will be able to sign a full 25 next year or if we will be hitting the 85 scholarship limit. It looked like we had about 22 or 23 seniors but I'm assuming some of them aren't on scholarship.

I guesstimated about 13. I'm pretty sure the following are on scholarship: Anthony Anderson, Sam Edgemon, Art Evans, CJ Fleming, Nick Guess, Malik Jackson, Austin Johnson, Ben Martin, Taureen Poole, Mychal Rivera, Matt Simms, Rae Sykes and Darryl Vereen.

Here are the one I don't think are on scholarship: LaDarius Denson, Chris Eggert, Corey Eicholtz, Ben Lehning, TJ Marrs, Shane Reveiz, Chip Rhome, Mandela Shaw, Jake Story, and Robert Yonce.

Please correct me if wrong on any of the above players.

So, that leaves us with 13 senior to replace plus only about 2 or 3 more to reach the 85 limit. We could be looking at a Florida-esque class next year. Only 15 kids, unless there is more attrition (players leaving, not qualifying, etc.) Looks to be pretty small next year.

I count eleven Srs. this fall. Rivera will be a Jr. and I don't think Edgmon is on scholly.

Dooley has already stated that we will be very selective in who we recruit for 2012. It is a serious numbers crunch next year.

They need about a dozen players to leave or signees to not get in for them to sign 25 next year.

Looks spot on, except you have all 28 signees listed, and only 26 can enroll this year.

Dooley indicated in the NSD press conference that he expected half a dozen or more losses between now and Fall camp.

I think we'll be signing a full class next year.

83-11 seniors is 72. needs a dozen under classmen to leave before August of 2012 if he signs 25 next February.

doable, without a doubt. But they are going to be selective and slower in taking commitments while they guage the numbers..
