I think Steele is an interesting one , he’s teammates with Grayson Pope at Trussville , for those that aren’t aware of Grayson’s story it’s quiet remarkable and he’s coming to UT this fall and is gonna be part of the baseball team in some capacity , to be a D1 SEC caliber baseball prospect and suffer a severe brain injury and show the fight and drive just to walk again is amazing , I think Grayson will have an incredible impact on this program and I hope his teammate comes with him , if not it’ll be ok , I hope the UT adm can find a way to give Grayson a full ride

I saw in another thread where someone said no chance that Arvidson comes back. I did not expect that with him being a sophomore. I think he could greatly benefit from coming back and finding a consistent third pitch

Believe he's a draft eligible sophomore; some pro team is gonna fall in love with his stuff and draft him in the 5th-7th round and pay over the slot bonus money to get him to go pro. I won't be surprised if - like Halvorsen - he's in an MLB bullpen as the setup man/closer within a year or two.

Think if all those guys get drafted in projection to that list, they won't ever make it to campus.

Gotta hope some guys fall through like Clark, Abernathy, Seibert (even though he didn't pitch this year), and the rest of the freshman class did.

I've been scanning these numbers and I do not envy college coaches trying to get these rosters to 34. We have 24 names on our recruiting class. Even if the draft gets the first six guys, where are we going to put everyone returning and that's not counting the guys transferring in. It looks like a HUGE headache.

NOTE: 4 of the 5 portal transfers IN are MLB draft risks. At least 8-10 incoming freshmen are MLB draft risks.

Some returnees could be “grandfathered” and not count towards the 34 man roster for 2026. With that said, it looks like UT will have their work cut out for them.

Arvidson is a redshirt Soph and draft eligible. He will get gobbled up no later than 5th round IMO.
