Always have a lot of “what ifs” both Tenn and opponents. Injuries the biggest. Based on no injuries for or against, I like Tenn and 9 wins. Lost multiple games by one score last year, played with Bama through 3 qtr, and Tenn offensive line and RBs were beat up most of the season. Missing Mays at Center was a huge loss. I think Tenn could beat any team on their schedule, or could lose to any mid pack or higher team. I can see an upset both for and against. Maybe beat Ga and lose to LSU, SC, Ky, or even Missouri.

Why you think we still got major depth issues? Every team in the nation has concerns but we are much deeper across the board on defense and we are seasoned on offense and poised for a big year… Rb is our thinnest and I think JW will be ready week 1
Have you seen any of our depth actually play a down?

Yeah they played well in moments last year… turnage Charles hadden slaughter McDonald Walker flowers McCullough Burrell all have good plays last year throw in turentine Dee Williams and Rucker you have a lot of athleticism and competition all camp… I said many times last year they look very athletic and with a focused off-season and seeing hard work pay off with 6 players drafted can only motivate the guys to lock in… the team has bought in and is working you will be pleasantly surprised with our secondary this year.

I totally agree with you this time LittleVol. The problem I see coming is we drop 4 games and the fans expecting 10 wins will start to blame the coaches starting with Tim Banks. And only because of unrealistic expectations.

This point does make sense to me, but I also believe that a certain percentage of the fan base will clamor for a coaching change no matter how low we set our expectations. It's just who they are. I would like to think we've learned our lesson about firing our way to success.

I know and he made a lot of good okays for them he was asking if I ever saw them play a down… they all have had good moments need to improve on the consistency for sure but I think the competition in camp has been extremely high… the secondary will be a very deep and solid group for us this year…
