You should watch it. More action, a scale less Drama and it's just different enough to be interesting.

I was in a motel in Parkersburg WV when I was 6 on a trip to visit my grandma and it was the first time I ever saw HBO as we were so poor we couldn't afford the o or r. I remember this intro:

And then Superman came on and I watched it for the very first time with my mom and dad.

29 years ago, and whenever I hear the theme song I still smile.
