Okay, I know we blew a 20 pt. lead and that we can't blame the officials (even though Conley could get a foul call right now if he wanted to), but what if the final two shots of the game were reversed?

What I'm saying is what if Ramar had taken the same shot as Conley's last with the same amount of contact? Would it have been called a foul?

What if Conley had taken the same shot that Ramar took with 6.5 to play with the same amount of contact? Would have been a no call?

I think in both cases the calls would have been different than what we saw last night. Now I could understand this if Conley was a junior or senior, but they are both freshmen. Why the discrepancy?

I have heard "unbiased" announcers say that the higher seeded team gets the calls. Sometimes this seems to be the case and other times it doesn't. I also think the refs sometimes start playing catch up when they realize the fouls are really lopsided, which wasn't the case last night in our case. I'm not saying the refs lost us the game last night, but I think games should be decided by the players abilities and no the way a game is called.

Age shouldn't be a factor at all.

The trick is to make just enough calls in order to advance the 1 seed without drawing too much attention. :whistling:

Man, that would be a helluva lot of calls to deplete a 20 point margin.... :eek:hmy:
