It's part of the espn app as is espn+. There isn't a separate app. You need a cable provider and a package with sec network to access it though. You should be able to get it on espn+ this week though. It's on both SECN+ and ESPN+.

Came in to say its all under the ESPN app. As long as you have a sub to both, you will find it.

You can always scroll (d-pad) down on the ESPN app and have it sort by CFB or SEC. I find that to be easier when I don't see the game immediately. There's a good chance that the Akron game gets buried under the other 35 relevant games that you will be forced to scroll past first.

If you pay for an ESPN + account will that be enough to pull up the game? Or does it ask for cable provider as well

If you pay for ESPN+ and have Roku you should be able to use the ESPN app on Roku to get the game. Or, you can use the ESPN app on your phone to get the game and cast it to your Roku. Also, if you happen to pay for Hulu Live with ESPN/Disney bundle, each ESPN+ game will show as a separate channel on the Hulu Live menu. Hope this helps! Streaming TV is simultaneously convenient and aggravating! Remember when we could just turn on the TV and stuff was on! :)

I've had the ESPN+ Ap for about a year. Recently, our subdivision went to Hotwire for our TV. That turns out to be a good move as we were able to load ESPN+ on our TV. We'll be able to watch Vols-Akron game on Saturday.

Does anyone find it odd that people are struggling to figure out how to watch this game? ESPN apparently has a marketing fail on their hands with the SECN+ and ESPN+ ways to view football games. Why did they abandon the SEC alternate channel? Is ESPN related to CNN? So many fails.

I remember when we used to have to turn on the TV ahead of time to let it warm up

No. People can't even figure out digital tickets. With so many different ways to watch TV these days, its not really a surprise the older generation is struggling to figure it out. I feel for them and try to help as many as I can. Don't look forward to getting old.

I’m being told I have to pay for espn plus even with my xfinity cable subscription with sec network. It’s like it doesn’t even give the option for my cable login.

My advice, try to find a day game tomorrow on SECN+ and try to watch it. It should give you the prompt for your credentials.

Just create a regular ESPN account.
Alright, I have created a ESPN account, and my HULU package includes the SEC Channel. But there's no SEC + there. There is ESPN +, but if you click on any program there, they just take you to the sign-in and pay to subscribe protocols. Any helpful ideas anyone?

From the ESPN app, scroll down to channels..... keep scrolling, it's there. SEC+ is a channel.

Add it and the SEC channel to "my stuff" in Hulu and you won't be searching for it.
