I am excited to see this match up. I feel like LSU may try and let Mathieu, in my opinion the best DB in the Nation, play Rogers 1 on 1 at first. If this is the case, It may open stuff up down the field for Rogers because of his size advantage. Thoughts?

I hope they do let them play 1 on 1. LSU is going to hammer us, so they could at least give us something exciting to watch for the duration of the game.

They don't even use Mathieu at corner.

Mathieu is not their best cover guy and is used more as a safety/lb combo.

That's not what ESPN says.

4. Tyrann Mathieu, CB, LSU: Another defensive player has to win it sooner or later, right? It helps that Mathieu also returns punts. He's already scored a pair of touchdowns on fumble returns. If he adds a punt return for a touchdown to his collection, and maybe even an interception return, then his Heisman stock is only going to soar. Mathieu leads the Tigers in tackles with 41 and also leads the SEC with four forced fumbles. He's a big play waiting to happen on defense and deserves serious consideration.

I don't care what ESPN says. LSU uses him differently than a corner.

im sure that berry was listed as a db his junior year, but anyone who watched realized he played more like a lb. how a player is listed means nothing

He is listed as a CB. Regardless, I bet we see him lined up across from Rogers at some point Saturday.

Thanks, be an *******, It fits.

How clever of you to pull out the playground routine. Who'd have ever guessed?

Would you like for me to write your next retort? I can dumb things down and make it appear authentic.

While you're saving time in not thinking as you post, ask an LSU fan what position the kid plays.

That would be great. Jump balls to D'a Rick all day long. I knew Johnny wouldn't let us down.

Unfortunately, Mo Claiborne is as big as Da'Rick and can climb similarly. Mathieu will be tied up with our slot or TE.

You really need a hobby. I'm not going to waste my time arguing with someone as simple minded as yourself. Feel free to not post in this thread anymore. Welcome to my ignore list.

So you got proven wrong and now you're ignoring him? Nice. Watch LSU play, he's not really a cover corner. I don't even think he was the corner on the interception he made. He was over the top.

You do realize you are making a fool of yourself by arguing with one of the most knowledgeable posters on this board right?
