I asked him on facebook if he was going to start and he said "yea right side"

looks like he has really worked his way up the depth chart. his style of play reminds me of hefney as a freshman. he's gotta nose for the ball and great athleticism.

hopefully Vinson comes back strong during Fall practice and really gets the competition going!

Our DB's are going to be deep....All the competition between them is already helping, i think.

So who will start the opposite side then? I'm assuming it will be Willingham since Vinson is rehabbing right now.

As of now probably...But I wouldnt be surprised to see Vinson back in there down the road.

Rogan________Willingham
Johnson______Vinson
Gaines________Fleming

Pretty deep, but the 3rd stringers have a lot to prove if they want playing time.

Johnson and Vinson i think would be better than Willlingham and Rogan..
I love Rogan.. but he seems like the type that will give up a big play.. even though he'll make big plays at times

Vinson Is an Athletic Freak, and if he got better hands, he could have 10 picks this year.. No lie..
and JOhnson was solid last year before he got hurt

Vinson should have had about 5-6 INT last year if it wasn't for his bad hands. Let's blame that on this shoulder and hope it healed up nicely.:)

Johnson got beat quite a bit last year before his injury. I don't think you could really go wrong with Willingham, Vinson, or Rogan.

I think Johnson will be a very key back up. Especially if there is injury to Morley or Berry, because Willingham will most likely slide over if there is injury.

He worked on his hands and feet skills this off season with Berry so lets hope he is better. He has plenty of talent so once it clicks he is going to be great. Also UT 4 me I dont believe this solidifies Rogan as a starter either. I will believe it when I see it. GO VOLS!!

We are over-evaluating these guys way too soon. Besides Vinson, none of them have played enough cb to really say. I believe Rogan could be the best cb by the end of the year. But I don't want to discount Marsalis Johnson and others who aren't fresh on our minds due to injuries.

Time will tell.

Anybody know how much weight Art Evans has put on? I think he could be really good, but might have to wait until next year. Also do they have any idea where they expect Vince Faison to fit in with all of this?

Faison is going to help add depth with safety along Vereen. I think Vinson & Rogan CB tandem for the next 2-3 years would be deadly (with Berry and Morley in the safety spots, man that's pretty good) Vinson can take the tall, physical receivers (since he's 6-2) and Rogan the speedsters (cause we know how fast Rogan is)

If Willingham and Vinson aren't the starters at UCLA, I'll eat a bug.

I really don't want you to have to eat a bug. :)

I don't really expect Willingham to start at CB though. I would think he will be a backup at Safety. I was thinking more like Vinson and M. Johnson or Vinson and Gaines. Definitely Vinson though.

Willingham will start. Did you watch Gaines play last year?
