Yeah, I guess you are right. When I see Heffney fair catch balls inside the 5 yard line and Rogers get a few chances last season to fair catch punts, I guess they were making the right decisions by just playing it close to the vest and not following any of Neyland's maxims about special teams being where the breaks are made and what not...

Just saw the highlights of the game on ESPN. The biggest play Rogan made wasn't even a return. He was the last guy between the Vandy return man and a TD on that last kickoff return. He did a masterful job of giving ground and staying on his feet to hold up the the return man and keep Vandy on the outskirts of FG range.

No, I was here since August. You chose to ban me because I said Ainge was the player that we pretty much saw most of today...

The truth hurts. Ainge is not a first rounder and he is one of the worst QB's in 30 years at UT. I'll stand by that statement.

he made plays where ever he's been. Which still begs the question as to why this guy was collecting dust on the bench...

Agreed..........Rogan has shown a lot of confidence and maturity than one would expect from freshmen. Hopefully this will open Fulmer's eyes to playing the talent and not the seniority. We ain't no union!!

How many TD's does Ainge have in his career? 58 passing and 1 rushing. Ainge didn't finish his frosh year because of the injury that he suffered against ND. Soph year wasn't great because of QB controversy. Last year he played like we thought he would when we recruited him. This year he really doesn't have the WR's that UT is used to having and he still have 20 TD's on the year w/ only 5 INT. How is he not a playmaker again?

OMG, that's when you know we have an edermacated fan base.....you should have heard the crowd(around me ,anyway), there was a Rogan admiration society that sprang up.....chants and all. Probably more than on his return

When you don't distinguish yourself as BETTER than the current, older players...you don't get to play. He got his chance, made the most of it, now he's the guy. It happens. No one expected Rogan to contribute in any way this year, so it's a pleasant surprise that he has. Some guys don't separate themselves from the pack like they should. Rogan did a good job, and now has secured the job for the next 3 years and (hopefully) 3 games.
