There were 500 DB's invited to the Combine? I could only find 23 Safety's that got invited...

All I am saying is if he were as big a POS as many are saying on here, he never would have even been invited. I'm not saying he will be a #1 pick, but he was good enough in some people's eyes to get invited.

Oh yea, I'm sure his name being out there and receiving an invite was based on his superior skills. Probably had nothing to do with the fact that he was a starter at CB for Tennessee and his defensive coordinator was Monte Kiffin. I'm sure Rogan would have been invited had he come from Abilene Christian, which is where his skills were most suited for.

Rogan ain't Berry, but he is a quality corner. Without him, we don't win the Vandy game in 07, the KY game this year.

Oh yea, where would our program be right now if we hadn't won those two games.

In 07 we wouldn't have gotten a shot at LSU, and we would've lost to KY, which is something I hope I never see. But obviously, this isn't about our program, it's about the fact that Rogan is a baller.

I'm not saying he's Champ Bailey, but dude can play at the next level. Especially the CFL. Arian Foster and Erik Ainge are in the NFL. Hell, Heffney got picked up. Dude can play.

Dude, stop arguing for the sake of arguing. Navychief is saying that SOMEONE saw SOMETHING in Rogan and felt he deserved a shot at the combine. Not that Rogan is fantastic but out of all the guys that played their last game in college, Rogan was one of the 500 that got invited. That isn't too bad

Not even close to 500 people were invited to the combine. It is an accomplishment to get invited as an underclassman. We have plenty of starting seniors that didn't get invited. Rogan may not have the measurables but he is a football player and I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a shot in the NFL.

May regret his decision to turn pro. He ran a 4.7 40 yesterday. That's going to cost him some money.

Was it me or did anyone else notice how "Big" Rogan looked...When he was running his forty I almost did not even recognize him...His Thighs are HUGE...I thought well no wonder he did not run fast he got too big he needs to lean out....

That right there. You remember Mark Jones? I don't think he's as big as Rogan and last I heard he was still in the League. :good!:

None of us have the football knowledge to determine his draft status. We'll see in April. I know the 40 time wasn't good, but his tape will determine where he goes.

You go to college to learn how to make a living. I understand he has a kid, and needs to make a living now.

Sure, I'm selfish and wanted this good player to stay at Tennessee as long as possible, but like all of us, he's got to do what he thinks in his best interest.

No matter what happens, I appreciate what he did for the team while he was here.

:good!:

I agree. Whatever choice he could have made (stay or go) would've been the right choice since it's his life. I really hope someone give the kid a chance. All the best to him

i think rogan should have busted his butt and stayed at UT for another year. it would have helped him imo and he would have another year of sec football under the belt. but i for one do not take what happens at the combine to seriously. i mean if you think about it, if a guy runs a 4.3 forty and is the fastest at the combine then heck that is awesome. but i want to see what a player can do when the pads are strapped on and it is time to hit. dont get me wrong, if a 4.3 guy gets out in the open just give him 6. but that is the key, breaking off the runs. rogan is a good player but should have come back.

A child to support does make a difference.

Even making a teams practice squad is alot more $$$ than sacking groceries and collecting shopping carts.

GO BIG ORANGE !!!

IMO he's too slow and small to play CB in the NFL. Wouldnt have made that much difference if he would have stayed another year, other then help the team.
