checked in small (under 5'9"?) and slow, and will regret his decision to leave UT a year early. Classic case of a desperate decision on his part.

I think Rogan will be fine maybe not the money he wants but he was solid, while playing for UT

Well he probably wouldn't have been eligible to play next year anyway. And what would he have done differently next year to improve his stock?

Whoever was in this kid's ear should be ashamed of themselves. When he declared early all I could think was that he wasn't even in the top 2-3 of his own college's defensive backfield. Why wasn't someone he respected telling him he needed to work another year and earn some respect?! That said, I wish the kid the best. I hope he gets drafted and proves everyone wrong in the NFL. I actually hope I'm wrong on him.

this is a point missed by many when discussing Rogan. He pretty much eliminated his options with his study habits. He may not make as much as he would like but even practice squad is ok money.

What would be different since he doesn't have the physical ability to play in the NFL is even though he may not have been eligible he would be closer to earning a degree. With UT's program that allows athletes to come back and finish their degrees, that's huge!! This kid is the prime example of this entire draft of listening to some bad advice! He had to have a sense before declaring of how slow he is straight line and contrary to other's opinions he doesn't do everything else well enough to cover Anquan Boldin, Hines Ward, or any number of the best No.2 receivers in the league. I love the way he played for UT and wish he would have gotten better advice or simply made a better decision!

He could have made All-SEC and got his name out there a little more. Right now, he is a slow, short DB that nobody has even heard of outside the SEC. I don't buy that he wouldn't be eligible next year, because he somehow found a way to be eligible his first three years. Horrible and short-sighted decision, JMO.

How the heck does he get closer to a degree if he can't pass 6hrs and maintain a 2.0 to stay eligible to play football?

MABY HE WONT MIND PLAYING IN CFL he will not be drafted nor will he sign and make team as free agent

He wouldn't have made All-SEC. All-SEC corners don't battle with redshirt freshmen for a starting position. I think a lot of people have the wrong idea with Rogan's skills. He's serviceable in the SEC at best, but he's not an NFL corner. Not this year, not next year, and not 7 years from now.

Who told him to go to the NFL? He didn't have a decision to make. It was either give it a shot at the NFL or flunk out of school and go hang around Alcoa. He eliminated any chance of a senior season by not going to class.

I don't care if Rogan is small and slow he was great last year. He's the best tackling corner Tennessee has had in a while.

Oh, I'm not going off the combine, I'm simply going off of watching him play in games. He seems to have a hard time guarding guys who catch the ball.

I am sure Rogan knows that his only chance in the NFL is on ST's via the practice squad/free agency. Had he stayed, he would most likely be ineligible b/c of grades, thereby wasting his time and UT's $$. He could have stayed but his baggage would have been multiplied in the eyes of the NFL since he would have played his senior year. At least he gets a chance to work out in front of scouts, attend UT's pro day, etc. I am pretty sure that his only other option would be the supplemental draft and I doubt anyone would take him.

Measurables are important, but I don't think Emmitt Smith had the measurables either. Some guys just know how to play the game. I hope this is enough to give him a chance somewhere, even if it is on Special Teams.
