Roe vs Wade Overturned

I don’t completely disagree with you. But it is important to fight outright lies like that “it’s not alive until it’s viable”.

A lot of such lies have been used as brainwashing towards abortion for decades.

Necessary versus sufficient conditions.

A baby 8 months in the womb is not ABLE to do those things UNTIL it is delivered and the ONLY thing holding that ability back is the act of being delivered. So I ask you again to clarify if you mean the ability to do it if delivered or actively doing it makes a difference. Are you supporting abortion up until delivery?
Um, no. doing something actively and having the ability to do something are two different ideas.

I’d set a hard limit somewhere between 15 and 20 weeks with exceptions for extreme circumstances.

You mean like the MS law that the left couldn’t accept and had to challenge in court leading to the overturning of Roe v Wade which was a 28 week standard?

The fact that you’d agree to a limit of 15 weeks seems to imply you agree that it is alive prior to viability. Unless you just want to protect it for no apparent reason?

Those truly following Christ care much more about Gods word than the views of some pandering “Traditional” pastor.

Jeremiah 1:5
Psalm 139:13–16
Exodus 21:22–25

since the “traditional pastor” didn’t bother to read those verses.
To be honest, I couldn’t care less what the Bible says or gripes between denominations of Christianity. I think the sentiment is interesting, though.

Good lord, you didn’t pay attention at all did you? Bet your son was much more developed than 15 weeks gestation, wasn’t he?

Your literal statement was “Because it’s not life until it can live on it’s own.” It was and is a stupid fu***** argument. It’s funny watching you try to wiggle out of it though. Maybe don’t say stupid sh** next time?

“I don’t care about what the Bible says.
But I find it interesting enough to repost what some guy says about what the Bible says.”

Interesting indeed

Literally impossible. He rivals the drunk @BowlBrother85 in never admitting he's made a clown of himself.

Guys, the root problem with having this type of discussion with OHvol40 is that he doesn't care about protecting life.

OHVol40, if my recollection of your thoughts that I'm about to summarize are incorrect, feel free to say so, and I will edit or delete this text.

However, as I recall, you mentioned in another thread on the Politics board recently something to the effect that the world is already way overpopulated. That problem is only going to get worse going forward.

As such, I don't find it surprising in the least that OHVol40 doesn't care about protecting life. Much like the Chinese government, he sees no problem in killing people off. He considers it a good thing.

Who are you?

Yeah, I just explained why I thought it was interesting, but you can ignore that if it helps you.

If a woman wants an abortion, chances are she will not make a good mother.

Life is sacred. Anyone that thinks differently is empty on the inside.

But is it living to raise generations of children that come from broken homes?

The people that cherish new life, will more than likely change whatever necessary for the child's sake.

Making selfish people...have children ...is a terrible mistake.

Not sure I can look someone in the eye and tell them they are better off dead.

I see no problem with her argument, honestly.

Same reasoning as in states allowing abortion not being able to charge people with two murders for killing a pregnant woman.
States that house pregnant women in prison are imprisoning innocent babies, what about their rights?
