Then vote those people out and make Tennessee more suitable to your ideology. We have the best system in the world to enact change by the power of the people . We just got use to trying to chip away at it through the courts , compromised judges and politicians that only have their best interests at heart . Sometimes the doing the right thing hurts but it’s best for everyone in the long run .

Question: I'm willing to meet you in the middle and say that life doesn't begin at conception, but should start around 10-12 weeks/heartbeat. I'll say 12 weeks/3 months just to be generous. Tell me, if an abortion is desired, why is there a need to kill the baby/fetus if there is a medically viable way to save it? Or if we are within a decade or so of possibly being able to save these sort of babies?

Or, what would be the problem with allowing the woman to carry the baby just long enough to where it can be removed and medically salvaged?

Not arguing for or against. This is the most conflicted I feel about any topic...but I always like to look at things through the lens of unintended consequences. We're moving closer to idiocracy by making it harder to get an abortion. Capable women who have bright futures will just get a travel abortion and the women who are the last people that we want to be Mothers (too young, lazy, and/or incapable of getting a travel abortion) are likely going to have more kids.

That may be so in the particular case brought to the SCOTUS, but in general, you know and I know that abortion is used as a form of birth control after random consensual hookups. Not rape. Not incest. Not the health of the mother being put in jeopardy. The overwhelming reason for most abortions is an "oops" or irresponsibility.

Can we say that?

You’re not wrong. Hopefully voters will force the various state legislatures to modify some of the most restrictive laws.
