Don't want to read a 100 threads. Thought someone would be helpful and answer a simple question. But thank you very much for your advice.
Thanks for the answer. I had searched, but there were literally 100 threads that came up. I'll go back and try some dated around the Dooley timeframe. But...maybe he was that good...and Dools just couldn't figure it out ;-)Easy, it's just the legend of Rod took on it's own life here on Volnation. It all started because a poster on here pumped Rod to be the next coming, a force of nature and the hammer of the Gods before he stepped onto campus. Rod was never able to break into the line up and it all started as some good natured ribbing to the poster but it exploded into THE LEGEND OF ROD. You truly missed some of the funniest stuff ever to grace Volnation. There are some people of quick wit and serious photoshop skill here on the board. If you have time look into some of the old threads and catch up on a Volnation legend. :detective:
Notice that none of these guys had pro careers, so they are likely doing this to get a little money from it.
However; if you take $200,000.00 in a law suit and divide it by 6500 former athletes, then each athlete would get maybe $350.00 each.
This is not the cash cow that they think it is.
Rod Wilks will represent both the plaintiffs and the defendants. People will weep at the beauty of the oratory as arguments drag late into the night before the judge, moved by Rod's words, decides to grant Rod Wilks a position as Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court. People will question the legality of this move. Once.
