A week ago, I was picking banjo at the Full Moon Pickin' Party in Nashville, and I met a recent Vol grad. We started playing "Rocky Top" and realized we had the Vols and our alma mater in common. I graduated in '97, and he graduated in 2012.

We met Wednesday to record it and share with our friends. Is it perfect? Heck no! :) It's unrehearsed, and my wife recorded it on an iPhone, so the sound and video are just OK. If we had more time we could get a better version. But it is a lot of fun to play! Hope you enjoy! Go VOLS!

Good job on the banjo man. Who cares if it is perfect when you play the national anthem of TENNESSEE

Thanks y'all! This song gives me chills when I hear it or play it. Sometimes it even brings tears of joy.

I know some of you in VolNation play music, so feel free to post your Rocky Top in this thread!

I really need to get a banjo. Picked up a mandolin a few years back instead, but I just haven't really gotten into it.

I love Rocky Top, ever since we played you guys last time it randomly gets stuck in my head. One of my favorite CFB traditions
